At first glance seems like an appropriate use of a busy corner that is currently a mini storage, a poor use of the land.

This is currently a mid-block single family residence that faces the mini-storage facility.

I support the change as it will help increase density along a transit line.

What’s your stake in this project? Have you looked at the design? It’s in for design review because the owner choose not to follow the St. Johns Community Design Standard! Why do you think that is? Because they have a superior design, or to optimize cash flow?

What are you looking at? The proposed 8114 N Jersey development in Design Review is a dog shoebox on dirt – do your job!

Thank you for your interest in St. Johns Land Use! Board elections are coming up. Interested and active community members are encouraged to consider running and working with the Neighborhood Association to promote an inclusive and thriving St. Johns. We appreciate your enthusiasm.

One it’s not a corner – 2 it’s a design intended to cram a shoe box like structure into a 5000 sf residential land locked lot! Yeah the existing single family home is scheduled to be demolished and it is ugly, but really, an architect designed this proposed shack? So I’d like to know what you are looking at? The design takes up almost the entire lot and has zero redeeming qualities consistent with a near zero front setback! 6 units with the singular purpose of generating cash flow at neighbor’s expense!
